"A Cop's Priorities"
This week's Centurion Law Enforcement Ministry/FCPO newsletter and devotional has gone out to our worldwide subscribers (FREE) but here it is again in case you missed it: just click on "A Cop's Priorities" (Courageous Priorities) -- Part 2 of our current 4-part Bible study series based on the film Courageous. As always, the newsletter includes a wealth of news, announcements, links, resources and more -- check it out and pass it on.
If you're in the Denver area, don't forget that we are hosting our 2nd joint (Capstone and Centurion) law enforcement baptism service tonight at Calvary Chapel Castle Rock starting at 6:30. If you've been born again (saved) but have not yet fulfilled God's command to be baptized (no, infant baptism does not count), then bring a towel and a change of clothes and come join us tonight. See newsletter for details.
Again folks, the time is short. Let's have a "Code 3" sense of urgency in living and sharing Christ with others.
Blessings!

Blessed are the Peacekeepers?
This week's Centurion Law Enforcement Ministry/FCPO newsletter and devotional -- Blessed are the Peacekeepers? -- has gone out to our worldwide list of subscribers but, as usual, I've posted it here as well. Lots of news, announcements, resources and an important devotional that will come as a surprise to many of you. Check it out and send me your feedback.
Tomorrow I will be chartering the new Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers chapter in Castle Rock, CO (Capstone Ministry/FCPO-Castle Rock) -- prayers appreciated for this dynamic new law enforcement outreach (and please join us if you're in the area).
Speaking of Capstone, here are some pics from of our 1st joint law enforcement baptism service (pictured are Nicole Gerlach -- wearing my shirt, no less, Officer Wes Body, Lt. Adam Reeves, Officer Martin Toetz -- who forgot his shirt -- LOL).
PRAYER REQUESTS:
** The following is from Inv. Tom Stanton in MA. Please pray. Their son is also a LEO.
I haven't been feeling well the past few months and the doctors discovered that I developed a second form of leukemia as well as my primary leukemia had returned - virulent and deadly. I am due to be admitted to Farber/Brigham & Women's hospital in Boston. I will be there for as long as a month and so will Eileen and son Tom. Making arrangements, it’s been hectic! Eileen has been relentless networking, filling out form after form and caring for me. The treatment which is very dangerous, complicated, intense and will last at least a year including isolation (no visitors)' frequent treatments and check-ups, etc., etc. I will let you know more in a while. Please keep Eileen, Tom and I in your prayers and God willing next year at this time we will meet at church and go for lunch after services.
Don't forget to follow us on Facebook: The Centurion Law Enforcement Ministry/FCPO-Denver.
Stay safe on the street and bold in Christ..

A Cop's Courage to Stay the Course
This week's Christian law enforcement newsletter and devotional has gone out to our worldwide readership but here it is again for those not yet on the list: just click on "A Cop's Courage to Stay the Course." Lots of news, info, resources, info about upcoming events (incuding the FCPO National Conference this October in Elkhart, IN) and of course a profession-relevant devotional that we hope you'll apply to your own lives. Check it out and pass it on.
Whilst I have you, please continue to pray for for Colorado State Patrol Trooper Edward ("Eddie") Taylor who remains in a coma. A website has been set up for folks to support Eddie and his young wife and child: go to www.TrooperEddie.org.
Also as announced in the newsletter, we're holding a law enforcement baptism service at Calvary Chapel Castle Rock tomorrow evening starting at 6:30 PM. If you're a LEO in the CO Front Range area who has come to Christ but has yet to follow the command to be baptized, please join us (more info in the newsletter).
Let's stay the course in Him.

A Call to Serve
With National Police Week 2013 underway, this week's Centurion Law Enforcement Ministry/FCPO newsletter/devotional is up and this exhausted brother is off to bed for a few hours before going back on duty (albeit I'm facilitating leadership training over the next two days). In addition to reading, praying and applying "A Call to Serve," please also take the time to join us in praying for those listed in the prayer requests found in the updated May 9th post below.
In addition, and especially for those led to help support CSP Trooper Eddie Taylor, wife Rachael and newborn Levi, please go to www.TrooperTaylor.org. Eddie is still in a coma...please pray!
Lastly (well, lots more in the newsletter), if you';re a LEO in the CO Front Range area who has come to Christ and has yet to be baptized, please join us on Monday, May 20th at Calvary Chapel Castle Rock starting at 6:30 PM (bring shorts, t-shirt and a towel) for our latest law enforcement baptism service. Please email me at fullarmor911@yahoo.com if you plan to attend and take part in this incredible act of obedience (no, not optional and no, infant baptism doesn't count). More details included under our local meeting schedules ("eyes right, scroll down").
Pass it on!

Baptism Reminder + New Website Links and Updates
I've added a number of new links here on our website -- including but not limited to a great site with info about protecting our kids online -- http://e-copp.com/. Please take advantage of these outstanding resources.
Secondly, just a reminder for our Colorado Front Range "locals" and FCPO-Denver regulars that I'll be officiating our first annual law enforcement baptism service tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 15th) starting at 1 PM at Southern Gables Church in Littleton. Email or call (720-371-1022) if you plan on attending but have not already notified me. Regardless, keep us in prayer!
Finally, I've updated the prayer requests on the Jan. 5th post...including one for the father-in-law for a dear friend in NM. Please join us in pray and check back frequently.
