First Responders in Need

Folks, our own are in need.

(1)  UPDATE on CSP Trooper Edward "Eddie" Taylor:  Eddie passed away Memorial Day morning and is with the Lord because he had a saving faith in the ONLY one who could save him -- the Lord Jesus Christ.  Funeral is set for Friday, May 31st starting at 1000 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Englewood, CO.  Please contine to pray for his family.  In addition, please prayerfully consider supporting Eddie's widow Rachael and their young son Levi.  Go to www.TrooperTaylor.org

(2) There are many First Responders in desperate need in Moore, OK in the wake of the massive tornado that ripped through the community.  To help, go to http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/travis-yates-2/moore.  Tulsa PD Capt. Travis Yates of Ten Four Ministries is behind this effort.  See also the related article on Law Officer

(3) PRAY!

Speaking of PRAYER REQUESTS:

(1) Please pray for retired Montgomery, Alabama K-9 Sgt. Paul Reynolds...God knows the details.

(2) Pray for an officer who found a DV matter and is on adminstrative leave (pray also that God uses this to bring this brother back into a right relationship with Him).

(3) Bert Sharp of International Police Fellowship in the UK sends the following:

-- Please pray for a retired police officer from New South Wales who is an alcoholic and suicidal. His partner has left him and his family have issues with him and have all abandoned him. He has a past Christian background.  Pray he returns to his first love, Jesus, to have a new beginning.

-- Please pray for the family and colleagues of former New South Wales Police Officer  Natalie Newman who has died after a long battle with cancer.  Natalie was 34 years old and a believer.
