Prayer Requests & Announcements

PRAYER REQUESTS (see updated Oct. 5th post for more):

** FCPO Pres. Paul Lee writes, "FCPO Dir. Lamar Moore was at the hospital here in Chattanooga ministering to a police officer whose girlfriend who had a miscarriage and her life was in jeopardy: please pray! Secondly, former FCPO board member John Stuermer’s father was also in the hospital and at first we thought he had suffered another stroke. Before church was out for those of you on the other side of the Mississippi we learned from John that his father had pneumonia so I didn’t call everyone last night. Mr. Stuermer has had a rough go for several months now; he had a stroke and bounced back, while making hospital visits he fell and broke his neck and bounced back, and now he is in the hospital with pneumonia. Please keep Harris Stuermer in your prayers. Knowing Mr. Stuermer all of his hospital nurses and tech’s will know about Jesus before his stay is over."

** Please keep a fellow cop/chaplain and retired Marine in prayer regarding some pretty painful injuries to his back.

** A Chief writes, "My younger sister was admitted to the hospital last night. The doctors found a mass and it may by cancerous. They are doing some exploratory tests tomorrow and then possible major surgery on Friday. She is married and has 5 kids so prayers for her, her family, and our family are appreciated." Let's pray folks!

** Pray for New Mexico Special Investigations Division Chief Bill Hubbard and his family over the loss of his WWII Vet (flew bombers) father James (Jim) Hubbard who passed away at home last week. Hubbard knew Christ as Lord and Savior and as such is now with the Lord. Can't wait to meet him! That said, Jim's bride was with him when he died and is hurting (as is the family) and need our prayers.

** Pray for Jason (police officer/solid Christian) who is dealing with some very difficult issues with his family in CA. Enemy is afoot and Jason seeks the Lord's wisdom and intervention in this very stressful and trying situation.
