Happy 4th of July from MC & The Centurion Law Enforcement Ministry
Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Family:
Just wanted to take a moment to wish each of you a safe and blessed celebration of our nation's independence. I'll be sending out the newsletter in a day or two with a recap of last Thursday's special 4th of July Bible study. However, let's take time today to pray for this nation, our leaders who need to come to Christ, and our military brothers and sisters who, like us, are defending her. The United States is truly in a II Chronicles 7:14 time. Sin and godlessness is detroying the country I love and we MUST repent, humble ourselves, and return to our Judeo-Christian roots.
Speaking of, some of you may have seen the video of the former Marine singing one of the "forgotten" verses of the Star Spangled Banner. Here it is for this day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0fQd858cRc&playnext_from=TL&videos=cWNozAevym8&feature=sub.
If, like me, you are working today, then count it all joy that you will be doing your part to protect our loved ones, the citizens we serve, and the freedoms for which this nation stands. Let's stay vigilent for one another while placing our trust in Christ.
"Ooh-Rah!" (or "Hooah!" for you Army folks).
