Where Were You on 9/11?

Hope you are all flying your flags today and remembering those we lost -- and those left behind -- this day 8 years ago. I distinctly remember waking hours early after a long swing shift and instinctively turning on the TV -- just in time to see the 2nd plane strike the WTC! I immediately called my chief and got suited up 8 hours early to do what could to "stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30) in our own small brick in the national "wall" -- a wall that is weakened when even the smallest piece goes missing. Pray for our country, our profession, our leaders, our families, and all our brothers/sisters serving in harms way both here and overseas. Pray -- and ask God to spare and heal our land (II Chronicles 7:14). Let's take care of each other out there!
