Cops: "Rest in Peace"?

This week's Centurion Law Enforcement Ministry/FCPO-Denver newsletter and devotional has gone out to our worldwide e-mail subscribers but, as always, here it is again: click on "Rest in Peace." So will you? When your time comes (and it will), will those serving up the "RIP" or "Rest in Peace" platitudes have weight? This is not the time to be playing games -- your eternal destination depends on the correct answer. Please understand that it is not my intention to be unloving or insensitive here. Rather, I am once again responding with a "Code 3" sense of urgency concerning the issue of salvation.

As always, the newsletter includes a plethora of links, resources, announcements, prayer requests (including one for our own CSP Trooper Scott Hinshaw in the wake of his 10th surgergy stemming from the injuries he sustained in the line of duty in late 2007.

Speaking of announcements, don't forget that the 2013 FCPO National Conference is less than two weeks away and I'm looking forward to seeing many of you in Indiana!

Let's stay the course under Christ our Captain.
