A Cop's Ultimate Destiny
This week's Centurion Law Enforcement Ministry e-newsletter and devotional has gone out to our worldwide readership but here it is again for those who missed it or who have not yet signed up: A Cop's Destiny. Where will YOU spend eternity? Do you know for sure? Pass it on.
As many of you know, we buried our own Trooper Edward "Eddie" Taylor, IV this past Friday. Please continue to pray for his widow, baby, and both families. Pray also for those affected by the tornadoes, fires, floods, etc. going on all over this country and the world. Remind you of anything? Click on Signs of the End Times. Time is running short -- are you ready?
The meeting schedules have been updated -- eyes left/scroll down.
Let's stay the course in Christ!
Latest Prayer Requests:
-- FCPO President Paul Lee writes,
This past Saturday June 1, 2013 one of my second cousins, Will Hutchins' 16 years old, was involved in a roll over crash. As of yesterday morning he was paralyzed from the waist down and the prognosis was not good. After much prayer the doctors were able to determine his spinal cord was not severed but he had some badly broken vertebrae around it. Surgery was performed this morning and I just received news that all went well. He will be moved to a spine center in Atlanta later but the prognosis is much better. I am asking that you place Will on your prayer lists for a full recovery.
Also for his mom (my cousin) Carla and her husband Bryan Hutchins. Bryan is a Sheriff’s Deputy in Coweta County, Georgia. I would also ask, if the Lord leads you, to send Bryan a note email letting him know you are praying for his son. I think it would be a blessing if when he checks his email that there would be words of encouragement from FCPO LEO’s and Former LEO’s from all over the U.S. & Canada & wherever else this email goes. His email address is bhutchins@coweta.ga.us.

The Aurora Theater Shooting & More -- Latest Prayer Requests
Updated 7/30/2012
** Dennie Crowder in Charlotte, NC has asked for prayer reference the upcoming Democratic National Convention (DNC) that will be held there from September 3-6, 2012. Pray especially for the officers who will be working the convention.
** As the whole world knows by now, we are dealing with a mass shooting in Aurora. I've been out doing my part and ministering to our own. More importantly, we had a number of Aurora PD officers with us at last Thursday's Centurion Law Enforcement Ministry/FCPO-Denver Bible study/fellowship and all were subsequently called out when the shooting went down shortly after midnight. Bottom line is that APD and a host of other agencies have been working incredibly long hours in hot temps over the last three days and there is still much to do (Can you even begin to imagine what the reports will look like?). Moreover, 33 folks from our home church (Calvary Aurora) were in the two theaters that were impacted (praise God, He protected them all). My pastor, Ed Taylor (this brother loves both his flock and all of us in LE) and staff have been in the trenches as well, as has Pastor Gino Geraci in his role as chaplain with the FBI and the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department.
Please keep us all in prayer here -- especially APD, hospital staff, DPD, FBI, ATF, the dispatchers, coroners, etc.
This Thursday (7/26) we will be gathering for a time of event-related prayer and Bible study at Calvary South Denver in Littleton starting at 7 PM -- JOIN US!
** Please keep my dear friend and brother Paul Lee (FCPO president) in prayer as he undergoes surgery on Tuesday.
UPDATE: Got word that the surgery went well and that Paul is resting, well, uh, NOT so comfortably :(. Seriously, pray for complete recovery for this dear brother and fellow warrior.
** Colorado Springs PD motor officer Matt Tyner was killed in the LOD yesterday. Please keep his family and colleagues in prayer. Here is the fund info:
The CSPPA has a Fallen Officers Fund set up if you'd like to donate directly to the Tyner family.
Send donations to:
CSPPA Fallen Officer Fund
559 E. Pikes Peak Suite 102

** A police crime analyst is battling cancer again. Please keep her in prayer (she is a believer and prayer warrior).
-- Stay tuned for more.
