Emergency Prayer Request
Prayer is requested for the first responders dealing with the recovery of five family members who were killed in a rock slide on Mt. Princeton here in my home state of CO. An officer I know personally states that the recovery is horrific and the victims are all very well known in the Buena Vista (CO) community. Let's go to God together in support of our own and for the surviving 13 y.o. who was likely saved when her father (killed) pushed her clear. She was seriously injured and is in the hospital (expected to recover but without her dad, mom and siblings).

Late Breaking Prayer Requests
Updated 07/02/2012
-- Please be in prayer for the folks in Colorado Springs, CO. City is on fire, more than 32,000 evacuated, and reports are that first responders have lost their homes in the infernos. We will be reaching out to same.
** UPDATE: Fires are still active but progress being made. Over 360 homes in the Springs were lost along with many more around the state (over 600 and counting). Ten-Four Ministries rep and EPD Officer Jason Pearson, retired officer-turned-pastor and chaplain Manny Hays, and I spent yesterday afternoon at the command posts to offer our assistance. Praise God, so far only one officer has lost his home in the Colorado Springs fires (and Glen Eyrie was spared despite flames on 3 sides).
-- The following comes from Grant Wolf in TN: "Mark Dennis (seven stories in “Cops on the Street”) is leaving Thursday for Nairobi where he has been invited to the police college to speak. He also will be speaking with guards and inmates at a maximum security prison there. There is great unrest in Kenya, with Christians and Christian churches being especially targeted. Mark has asked for prayer in as he ministers in Kenya."
