** Please pray for former Independence Missouri Chief of Police Larry Cook who is currently hospitalized in Independence, where he is suffering from lung disease and now is down with pneumonia.   Pray that God gives him comfort spiritually and physically as he receives treatment.  Both Chief Cook's and his son, Detective Steve Cook, IPD, are Christians and welcome your prayers.

** Another church shooting -- this time in our own backyard of Aurora.  Pray for the church, the family of the deceased woman (pastor's mother), and the off-duty Denver officer who was at the church, engaged the shooter, and terminated the threat.
