COPS FIGHTING CANCER + Latest Prayer Requests & Announcements

PRAYER REQUESTS (updated 03/23/2012)

See updated March 11th post for more...
Note that we welcome your prayer requests for posting in this forum.

** A Chief is asking for prayer for his mother who has been diagnosed with Leukemia.

** Please pray for Dep. Art Briles, his bride Lonni and their families concerning health and job issues.

** Pray for a dear sister in Christ who is dealing with a host of family-related issues.

** Pray for a Chicago officer who has been shot and is in critical condition: Chicago Officer Shot

** A Christian officer in Oregon asks that we be in prayer for his agency/colleagues and family of an officer who took his own life late last week. Folks this is why we need to be running "Code 3" in living, modeling and sharing Christ with our colleagues.

** A deputy who has been suffering from a severe ear infection asks for prayer -- he has lost hearing in one ear and is not sure of long-term prognosis. Please pray for healing and restoration.

** Pray for two officers who were recently involved in an OIS and are facing threats (personal, family) from some of the deceased perp's associates. Officers were cleared but there is still great stress on the agency as they seek to protect their own.

** Pray for a female servant-warrior and her family. They are involved in an ongoing and very trying Job-like battle with disease, relationship issues and more. God knows the need so just please lift Michelle and her family in prayer.

On Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 6:00 p.m., the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command #325 will be hosting a spaghetti dinner and silent auction at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds to benefit the great work of Cops Fighting Cancer. For their Legacy Project, Class #325 is asking for your support in reaching their goal of $10,000. Jefferson County (CO) Sheriff’s Office members of Class #325 are Shellie DeNuzzi, Mark Gutke, Chris Loptien, Steve Wygant, and Carla Zinanti.

How can you help?
Purchase a $10 ticket and join us on April 11th. The menu includes spaghetti with meat sauce or marinara, salad, and a drink. Enjoy good company, good food, and shop our silent auction items.
