Veterans Day Prayer Requests

UPDATED 11/16/2011

PRAYER REQUESTS:

** Praise Report! Thanks first to God and then all who prayed regarding our special event last night with best-selling author Jerry Jenkins. Good turnout and many seeds planted. Jerry was terrific.

** Please pray for a Christian deputy striving to save his marriage.

** Continue to pray for two CO State Troopers fighting for their futures (upcoming court case stemming from a line-of-duty incident). One is a believer and both are undergoing incredible hardship.

** Pray for Texas officer David Sedmak as he seeks employment with another agency.

** PRAISE REPORT! Thanks to all who prayed for us reference last night's special event with best-selling author Jerry Jenkins! For me see www.jerryjenkins.com/.

** Fellow FCPO Board member Paul Lee in TN sends the following:
One of our FCPO Board members, Chuck Gilliland, has asked for prayer for his son Cole. Cole has a large knot on his neck and right now they do not know what it is. Please pray for Cole that this is nothing serious. Also remember Chuck in your prayers. I will update you as soon as we get some new information.
PRAISE REPORT!! Chuck writes, "God has really blessed us. Cole's white cell blood count is back down from 18,000 to 600. The knot in his neck is gone. Doc said it was probably a swollen and infected lymph node with a secondary infection that they didn't catch. I know it was God who healed my boy. All praise and glory to Him!!!! Thank you for your prayers. We have to continue going back for periodic blood checks for the next 6 months but we are in the clear." AMEN!

** Please continue to pray for Rick and Cindy Stone and their 4 young children. Rick is a Maine Game Warden as well as a brother in the Lord. Rick has just found out that he has cancer on his liver ,esophagus, and stomach .IT is one of 3 kinds but until the PET scan is done they don’t know which one .On Friday he is having a port put in to prepare for the receiving of chemo . Once it is determined which type of cancer it is they will start the chemo on him ASAP.

** From NYPD Officer Bob Martin (Ret.) -- Update on Sally Martin who is fighing pancreatic cancer: Sally is still in the fight-could you ask again for prayers on her behalf?
You bet Bob!
