** Praise Report! Let's just praise God for the successful raid that took out bin Laden! Then go thank a vet (both military and law enforcement)! May God bless the United States of America and all those who protect her. "For God and County...!

** Federal officer Krysia Baron in NM writes, "The Law Enforcement United Long Ride from GA to DC is underway. Please pray for the safety of all the riders, especially in this crazy weather. The short ride sets out from VA next week."

** Please join us in prayer for our country by participating in a National Day of Prayer event in your area on May 5th!

** As most of you know by know, many areas in TN, GA, MS, AL, etc. sustained major damage, injuries and deaths from yesterday's storms. Please pray for all those affected, including law enforcement personnel who are serving despite having suffered major losses of their own. In addition, My friend Travis Yates (Tulsa PD Captain and Director of Ten-Four Ministries -- www.tenfourministries.org) sends the following:

I'm trying to identify officers that have lost homes, etc. in those areas hit by the tornadoes last and I plan to go to the area next week to help them.
Have them contact me at
info@tenfourministries.org.
My thought is that those of you thinking of responding need to coordinate.

** Det. Bruce Fitzgerald with Broomfield P.D. is in the hospital battling cancer. He was just awarded as "Officer of the Year" - See the link from Fox News below. He has spent all his medical leave/ vacation and is now in need of support. There is a car wash being held for him in Erie (Coal Creek Car Wash - 700 Austin Ave) on Sunday (04/30) from 2-5pm. Also, donations can be made through Wells Fargo Banks in his honor. Please help spread the word for prayer and for a car wash.

** A colleague asks that we be in prayer for his supervisor's son who is battling cancer.

** PRAISE REPORT! An investigator (officer) we have been praying for about his job situation after being laid off has accepted a position in California. Praise God indeed! There are still house and family issues to work out so please continue to pray reference same.
