New Prayer Requests and Updated Meeting Schedule

Please review our previous prayer request postings (as in the Nov. 4th post) along with these new ones. Our local chapter meeting schedule is also updated below.

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS:

-- Sgt. Dino Heckerman in Illinois is asking that we be in prayer for his daughter. Dino writes, I ask for more prayer for Katalina today. She is still in some pain near her ear and is still swollen. She also brought to my attention a small lump on the left side of her neck today.
I called the Dr. who performed the surgery and we are going to see him today at 3:10.
I am trying not to seem too alarmed because I know that God is good all the time and I keep reading his promises. I know He is with us always.. I just want to be assured that this is nothing serious. I want to be sure it is diagnosed properly.

-- James "Jimmy" Wattles sends the following update: This is concerning former Mesa AZ police officer, Lance Heivilin, who is fighting cancer Recent tests have found that the cancer has spread to lungs and two vertebra in his back. He has posted this to his Facebook page. We need to continue to pray for Lance and his family as they face this challenge....with the Lord's help! Jimmy

Lance Heivilin writes, I have been deeply touched by the words shared, the blessings given, and the loved shared over so many miles. It is incredible the reach you all have, and now people are posting thoughts and feelings from others who do not FB. I cannot describe the emotion it draws from my heart and the calm produced for me amongst what feels at times like insanity. For those who are silent, who don't know what to say, I feel your love as well. I know you are there and I feel your quiet strength reach out to me and hold me steady. May the Lord continue to bless you and thank you all for sharing with my family. Peace

-- Let's renew our prayers for little Elizabeth Jetton (cop's daughter). See http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/elizabethjetton.

-- Pray for a couple of western Colorado colleagues who are dealing with injuries and illness.

-- We are SO blessed to live in a nation where we can still (well -- generally anyway) worship our Lord without fear of arrest. Not so for much of the world. David Greenhalgh (Canada) writes, Please pray for Asia Bibli, a 45 year old mother of five in Pakistan, being persecuted for her faith. Todays article (below) comes from a very credible British newspaper.

-- Praise report from Rob Dahl in Washington: This is a message I got today from Baby Ryker’s mom (Mom is Boring FD member, Dad is Fairview PD Officer) --
“I just wanted to leave you a little note to say thank you for all your prayers and support since we have had the baby. It really means alot to all of us to know that you are thinking of us, and passing our information to others to pray for us.” Ryker is doing amazing! He will be moved to 40ml @ Midnight, he weighs 7lbs 3oz, he is pooping like crazy, and he was taken off his lipids today. He still has the feeding tube, but hasn't had to use it in 2 days. Drinking from the bottle or boobie LOL. He loves his big boy bed too!! Madison was a little emotional leaving him tonight :( Dr. says he will be off his IV's wiithin 48 hours!”
Thank you to all the Prayer Warriors and Thanks be to God!
