PRAYER REQUESTS & MEETING UPDATES

PRAYER REQUESTS:

(1) As you remember, Kyle Kendall’s (former Oregon deputy) daughter Joy was critically injured a few weeks ago and remains in the PICU at Doernbechers. While not out of the "woods," the updates I've received are indeed positive. Pray that Joy would continue to have productive coughing; for the infection to go away completely; and continued improvement in her neurological response. Please continue to pray for this little cherub and her family.

(2) Continue to pray for the officers, staff and leadership with the Grand Junction PD.

(3) Pray for a colleague who is dealing with marital problems and the recent loss of a parent.

(4) Chief Jim Kuchenbecker of the Washington (IL) PD writes, "It is with deep regret and sadness that I inform you that Mr. James R. Kruger, Sr., beloved father of Roselle Chief of Police James R. Kruger, Jr. passed away this afternoon at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Mr. Kruger was surrounded by his family when he passed. Please keep Chief Kruger and his family in your prayers."

(5) Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Agent Jim Means recently lost his long-term arson K-9 partner, Erin, to cancer. Those who have been K-9 handlers understand the pain of losing a loved companion. Please keep Jim and his family in prayer. I worked with Erin and Jim some years ago -- Erin was absolutely amazing (as is her successor). See http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_15083059 for more.

(6) DPD officer Allison Casias continues to show amazing progress. Please keep our sister in prayer (physical and spiritual). See http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/allisoncasias.

(7) Please continue to pray for wounded Mahnomen (MN) Deputy Chris Dewey in prayer. Our brother has had some setbacks and faces a daunting future. Chris's wife Emily needs your prayers as well. Follow their progress at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/chrisdewey.
