Wounded Officer Updates and Col. Grossman Reminder

For all those who have been asking/waiting for news, I went over to the Craig/Swedish hospital complex this afternoon to visit and pray with our wounded brothers and their wives. Here are the updates:

(1) Officer Densey Cole (Chicago PD) was not in -- probably out/about with Mary. Just a couple more weeks before he heads home to Chicago but there is still a tough road in front of him. We need to continue to come along side him spiritually. PRAY!! I left him a CD from one of Gino's sermons (Slaying the Giants) and some other info.

(2) The power of Emily's love for Chris (Dep. Chris Dewey, Mahnomen County S.O.) is truly inspirational. It was again an honor to pray with them and I anointed Chris with oil in accordance with James 5:14-15. Chris really seemed to know I was there -- I was blessed.

(3) Met/prayed with Jefferson County S.O. Deputy Ned Weiner and his wife -- both are Believers. As reported previously, Ned is in a battle with cancer but gets to go home tomorrow before he starts chemo.

(4) Checked on JeffCo Investigator Art Peterson. He is still sedated due to recent surgery (great pain) and still can't have visitors. We serve an awesome God -- He hears our prayers even if I/we can't physically be in the room with Art.

Please, please keep our brothers (and their families) in prayer!

CPPA CONFERENCE REMINDER! As reported previously, the CPPA Conference is set for September 24-26 in Grand Junction, CO. Internationally acclaimed speaker and author Col. Dave Grossman (http://www.warriorsciencegroup.com/) will present his award-winning and not-to-be-missed Bulletproof Mind program. The agenda also includes a law enforcement shoot on Saturday in which yours truly will be competing. I will also be speaking/giving the invocation at Friday (9/25) night's awards dinner. Go to http://www.cppa.net/ for registration info. The aspens are turning...come join us in Grand Junction!
