A TRIBUTE TO
OFFICER DENSEY COLE, Chicago P.D. &
DEPUTY CHRIS DEWEY, Mahnomen County, MN.
Saturday, September 5th, 2009
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
700 block of E. Eastman Ave., Englewood, CO.
In February, Deputy Dewey was investigating a shots fired call and was shot in the head abdomen. A nearby Deputy found Chris and was able to get him emergency medical care, helping save his life.
In May, Officer Cole was responding to a robbery call when a vehicle collided into his marked patrol vehicle. Densey was immediately paralyzed and unable to call for help. Two criminals then entered Densey’s police vehicle and began assaulting him and ultimately stealing his service weapon.
Both Densey and Chris are patients at the world class Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado undergoing rehabilitation for their injuries. Both of these amazing cops want to meet all the Police, Fire and local community members who have been visiting and wishing them well since they came to Colorado. Please join us!
