What it means to be "right" with God
My Fellow Sheepdogs:
I'm keeping this short (what a concept) due to the late hour and because I sent out a previous email announcement earlier this week.
Metro Denver Locals: Remember that we will meet tomorrow (Thursday, April 23rd) from 1830-1930 hours at Calvary South Denver (www.calvarycsd.org) in Littleton. As reported previously, we will be taking an in depth look at were you/we are at in our relationship with Christ. Do you live in a manner that truly reflects the lordship of Jesus in your life or would others have a hard time ever realizing you are Christian? Is the “badge” (the job) your “lord” or is Christ? It's not too late to "get right" with God. We'll also take a look at a number of issues relevant to the events ten years ago at Columbine HS. Hope you can join us!
Brian Rohrbough's Message Available! Brian Rohrbough, the father of Daniel Rohrbough (one of those murdered at Columbine) gave a powerful message at Calvary South Denver last Sunday. I would encourage everyone to take the time to listen: go to http://calvarycsd.org/media.php?b=gue&m=200 and click on Brian's message.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
(1) Retired Denver PD Officer and current DPD Chaplain Manny Hays is in Mexico this week preparing for an upcoming missions trip. Please keep Manny and wife in your prayers (protection, traveling mercies, etc.).
(2) Long-time law enforcement and Centurion Ministry supporter Erv Meyer who is suffering some ongoing health issues. Ask God to give Erv complete healing and restoration.
(3) Continue to pray for CSP Trooper Scott Hinshaw as he recovers from his latest surgery. I would further ask that we humbly petition our loving Lord to give Scott a miraculous complete healing, according to His will and for His glory.
(4) PRAISE REPORT: A brother in NM was recently hired on with an agency where he can better use the skill and talents God has given him in law enforcement. Thanks for all who have prayed for him (Praise God most of all!!).
Pass it on folks...see you tonight!
